I moved to Dorset as a single person around 5 years ago, not knowing anybody in the area. I tried attending a few organisations that did not really meet my needs. I then joined WLJC in Bournemouth and immediately felt at home. I was warmly welcomed by all and found great pleasure in the services with its excellent singing and a liturgy rediscovered. WLJC has given me Jewish roots in the area and a great sense of being part of a genuine warm community who continually look after each other and others in the wider community.
