|  Our
aim as a Liberal Jewish community is to be liberal, egalitarian and
inclusive. In this we embrace Jewish faith, culture and tradition
for the 21st Century. Soon we are to affiliate with Liberal Judaism, which represents most Liberal Jewish communities in the United Kingdom.Our
community has use of a Torah scroll on loan from Liberal Judaism.
However, our dearest wish is to own one ourselves. For this purpose we
have started a Torah Scroll Fund. To date (24th July 2011) we have
raised £405.00. Considering that a refurbished Torah Scroll can cost
from £4000 upwards we have some way yet to go.However,
