OUR FIRST CHANNUKAH PARTY
|
We held our first Chanukah Party on Sunday 5th December, 2010 at the Braeside Hall near Ringwood.
Around
40 members braved the freezing weather to enjoy latkes and doughnuts.
This followed a service and candle lighting ably conducted by Edmund
Smith.
It was a joyous, family occasion attended by all ages from toddlers to the over 80`s!
The
WLJC continues to go from strength to strength with members across
Dorset and Hampshire. There are monthly Rabbi led services, and
services on all other Shabbats led by members of the congregation.
The group are looking forward to their first Communal Seder in 2011.
