how archaeology and background study casts light on scripture in a way
that is relevant to both Jews and Christians. Drawing on recent
experience on an excavation in the Galilee, he will show how
archaeology assists in casting light on the meaning of the Hebrew
scriptures and brings alive a world important to us all.
